Blast

Blast lets you post an open invite (an activity, place, and time) that your friends can see and claim a spot on. It's a replacement for group-texting everyone you know — nothing more.

You must be at least 13 years old. You need a real phone number you control, since that's how you sign in. One account per person — don't create accounts for other people without their permission, and don't create accounts to impersonate someone else.

You're responsible for what happens under your account. Don't share your sign-in access with anyone. If you think your account's been compromised, contact us right away.

You're responsible for the invites, notes, comments, and messages you post — keep them legal, and don't use Blast to harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone. We can remove content or suspend accounts that violate this, though for a small app used by friends, we expect this to rarely come up.

By signing up with your phone number, you agree to receive SMS text messages from Blast for account verification (a one-time sign-in code). Message frequency depends on how often you sign in. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to a message to opt out, or HELP for help — opting out of texts means you won't be able to sign in, since that's currently the only way Blast verifies it's really you. Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Blast helps you coordinate plans with people in your own friend network — it doesn't vet, background-check, or take any responsibility for the people you meet through it or what happens when you meet up. Use the same judgment you would meeting up with anyone else.

Blast is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We're a small, actively-developed app — things may break, change, or occasionally go down. We'll do our best to keep it running smoothly, but can't promise it'll always be perfect.

You can ask us to delete your account and data anytime — see the Privacy Policy for how. We can also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

If these terms change meaningfully, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
